The EdTech Centre of the National Education Agency invites municipalities across the country to apply for hybrid (distance) learning equipment.
By the new school year, 500 new hybrid kits will have been distributed, installed and ready for use by teachers.
The equipment kit will include a computer with the necessary accessories, an interactive screen, a video camera, a microphone and audio speakers.
A proportionate number of kits will be provided for each county, and a selection process will be carried out for the hybrid training tools. Schools in general education will be eligible to apply for kits, with a maximum of three kits per school.

Hybrid teaching is the possibility of combining two different ways of organising teaching – distance and face-to-face – in parallel, with some students learning in the classroom in a face-to-face environment and others joining the classroom remotely using various technologies.
This can be the case for home-schooled children, children in isolation due to illness, etc.
Hybrid learning is particularly relevant in the pandemic era and is being further developed in the context of increasing access to education and digitisation.
The project “Digital Transformation of Education” is implemented under the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan “Next Generation Lithuania”, funded by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU.
