What is an EDTech Centre?
The EdTech Centre of the National Education Agency was set up to pursue the national mission of digital transformation of the education system.
The Centre introduces educational institutions – from kindergartens to universities – to the most innovative educational tools, and invites them to try out new, engaging digital learning solutions in schools – from career planning and personal development programmes to virtual reality.
The Centre becomes a bridge for collaboration: it transmits feedback from teachers and students to EdTech start-ups and IT companies.
The Centre also offers distance learning courses to improve teachers’ digital skills: this helps to organise teachers’ work more effectively in the classroom, by offering easily adaptable assignments and boosting teachers’ self-confidence.
