„Digital Transformation of Education („EdTech“)“ is a project funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility and the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania. The project will run from September 2022 to June 2024. The aim of the project is to increase the efficiency of the Lithuanian education system and the quality of learning outcomes through innovative digital technologies.
The implementation of the project „Digital Transformation of Education („EdTech“)“, its desired impact and outcome indicators are foreseen in the national plan „Next Generation Lithuania“.
The Digital Transformation of Education (EdTech) project addresses the following national challenges:
- The development of digital innovation in educational institutions is hampered by a lack of commitment from teachers and educators and a lack of digital competences.
- Progress in digitising education is too slow – educational institutions lack the necessary hardware, software and quality digital content.
- Inefficient use of data generated by the education system.
Data is collected and stored in the register of legal entities.
